About the role

As the Team Lead Logistics (all genders) you will be orchestrating a seamless and efficient supply chain. Your role encompasses overseeing the entire logistics process, from distributing packaging materials to private sellers to coordinating bike shipments. As a key player in our team, you will contribute to the exceptional experience of our customers by optimizing the logistical backbone of our marketplace.

Your responsibilities

You develop and implement strategic logistics plans to enhance the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of global bike shipping.
You collaborate with packaging and shipping partners to streamline operations, ensuring timely delivery of packaging materials to sellers and coordinating private pickups.
You oversee the logistics team, providing leadership, guidance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
You implement tracking and reporting mechanisms to monitor shipment progress, promptly addressing any issues that may arise during transit.
You stay abreast of industry trends and regulations, ensuring compliance with shipping standards and customs requirements.

About you

You have extensive experience in logistics management, with a proven track record of optimizing supply chain operations.
You have strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve performance goals.
You have exceptional problem-solving abilities, capable of addressing challenges in real-time to maintain smooth logistical operations.
You have in-depth knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs processes, particularly within the European and North American markets.
You have effective communication skills, both internally with team members and externally with packaging and shipping partners, to foster collaborative relationships and resolve potential issues proactively.
