About the role
As the Global ​Strategic ​Operations ​Manager (all ​genders) for our thriving pre-owned ​bike marketplace, you will spearhead the expansion and optimisation of our global logistics network. This pivotal role focuses on strategically developing and scaling our operational footprint to enhance the overall efficiency and customer experience. You will play a key role in establishing a robust and responsive infrastructure, ensuring seamless interactions between private sellers, buyers, and our external partners.
Your responsibilities
  • You develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for expanding the network of service points to support our marketplace operations globally.
  • You identify and establish partnerships with service providers, ensuring their alignment with our quality standards and customer satisfaction goals.
  • You are responsible for the development of new approaches for the strategic advancement of our logistics processes, focusing on cost efficiency, shipping lead times, customer experience and scalability.
  • You collaborate with internal teams to assess and optimise the geographical distribution of physical touchpoints in our supply chain, balancing coverage and cost-effectiveness.
  • You implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of our processes, making data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
About you
  • You have already gained some experience in a consultancy, a dynamic start-up or scale-up environment, or something similar.
  • You have a strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute plans that align with business objectives and market demands.
  • You have strong negotiation and relationship-building skills to cultivate partnerships with service providers and stakeholders.
  • You have analytic proficiency to assess the performance of the network, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions.
  • You have proficiency in data analysis, comfortable working with spreadsheets, and eager to delve into detailed analyses.
  • You have excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of inspiring and guiding a diverse team in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment.
